Each April in Leavenworth we say ‘auf Wiedersehen’ to winter with a month-long celebration called Spring Sensations! All April-long Leavenworth’s finest shops, lodging and restaurants feature culinary specials with a ‘pear’ticular focus. After all, Leavenworth is the largest producer of organic pears in the USA! We have lots of culinary events , art events, music, and festivals going on during Spring Sensations.

Sip and Paint is perfect for a date night, a mom's night out, a bachelorette party, a shower, a birthday or just because! Each class includes step by step instruction to create your very own masterpiece and all the supplies needed to do so! Something wonderful occurs when a group of people get together and feel free to have fun with paint. Add a glass of wine or beer and it is positively festive. We often, as adults, forget that it is important to be creative, that it is proven to be beneficial to our mind, our spirit and our health. In the casual scene of Sip and Paint classes, adults allow themselves time to just have fun. No painting experience necessary!

Leavenworth Ale-Fest

The Leavenworth Ale-Fest is Leavenworth’s first beer festival. The inaugural festival took place on back in April 2007. Since then, it has grown each year into what it is today. A fun event that inspires competition for breweries, food booths and more.

4-H & FFA Demonstration Day

This year there are two dates from which to choose a time to do your demonstration. They are July 16 and August 4. Demonstrations will be scheduled between 6 pm and 9 pm each day. They will be held at the Chelan County Fairgrounds.

River Ramble

Rocky Reach Visitor Center offers our annual River Ramble event--a free program May May 12th, educating our community on the fascinating relationship between our area’s native peoples, plants, and nature Guests will learn how wildlife and plants are a vital part of traditions that have been passed down from the vibrant peoples who once thrived along our rivers. The hands-on program, designed for all ages, runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday May 12th, at Rocky Reach Dam Park.
